Spring Photography Class

My next landscape photography class will be May 18 - 20, in Bluefield, West Virginia.  I like to not only  teach but try to get my students out at hours that they can capture memories, which means either a sunrise or sunset shoot, depending on the weather.  Consequently the hours for Saturdays and Sundays class will be established later.  The Friday class will be from 6:30 PM to 9:00PM.  In this session I hope to prepare everyone for a successful landscape shoot, before getting the hands on experience.  I can explain why certain settings are important on your camera, but everyone needs to study their manuals and know how to access those settings.  Please know how to turn on your histogram, exposure composition or the Automatic Exposure Balance (AEB), and manually set your shutter speed and f-stop.  I recommend a cable release, tripod, and the Lee 4" x  6" - .9 Graduated Neutral Density filter.  The class is limited to only 8 students and is $350.00.  A deposit of $150.00 is due April 18th, with the balance due the evening of the first class.  To reserve your seat call Betty at the gallery, 304/327-9330.  The photo above was taken at the last class!
